The 2014 NFL Draft is loaded with a plethora of defensive backs that could come in and start as rookies.
As far as cornerbacks, the likes of Darqueze Dennard (Michigan State), Justin Gilbert (Oklahoma State) and Jason Verrett (TCU) all could hear their names called on Day 1 of the draft. Safeties HaHa Clinton-Dix (Alabama) and Calvin Pryor (Louisville) are the cream of the crop at their position.
The Bears are expected to pursue defensive back depth through both free agency and the NFL Draft, and all the aforementioned players could provide immediate help to a secondary that has plenty of holes going into the 2014 season. The SportsTalk Live panel discussed the topic on Tuesday night and shared what direction they think Chicago should go in during the first-round.
