The QB pool in the upcoming NFL Draft is pretty shallow, but that's not a bad thing for the Bears, who can look to Tom Brady (a late-round pick who excels in the pocket) as an example.
The Bears announced on Tuesday afternoon that former assistant defensive line coach Clint Hurtt will remain with the team in 2015 as the new outside linebackers coach.
In the Bears’ 29 drafts since winning Super Bowl XX over New England Patriots, they’ve had just six Top 10 picks. And history shows they haven't found much success when drafting that high.

Team talk

New Orleans Saints' defensive coordinator Gregg Williams has been aggressive in destroying pass protections and CSN's Jim Miller says Jay Cutler needs to stay tough, as he believes Williams' goal is to hurt him.

With injuries limiting players at four key positions -- wide receiver, safety, right guard and running back -- Bears' reserves will see significant playing time against the Saints. CSN's John 'Moon' Mullin has the breakdown.

Olin Kreutz felt the Bears made him a 'fair' offer and harbors no grudge against the team, although expects Sunday's game to be more emotional than usual. Also, Brian Urlacher is expected to play against the Saints.

Lance Briggs took some time out of his typical Countdown to Kickoff show to discuss his teammate Brian Urlacher's recent loss as sports show us time and time again how it helps people get through difficult times.

Second-year player J'Marcus Webb and rookie Gabe Carimi may not have much experience, but they held their own against a fierce pass rush in Week 1 and this week in New Orleans, will face some loud competition.

Brian Urlacher was back at practice for the Bears Thursday and his teammates and coaches are understanding, but thankful. OC Mike Martz has changed his roots and is up in the booth during games now.

Many critics are saying that the Bears overpaid for Chris Spencer this offseason, but John Mullin says its more of a measure of the market than of the player. Plus, the story of Sean Payton's 'Spare Bear' days.

Will Jay Cutler be on the Bears next season?
