The Bears thought wins against the Bucs and Vikings would help build momentum towards a miraculous playoff run. But on Thanksgiving in Detroit, the Bears continued to underachieve in a 34-17 loss.
After taking a lead thanks to two impressive offensive possessions, the Bears faded quickly, giving up the lead and the game to the Lions in Detroit on Thanksgiving.
With the Bears abandoning the run game early on, Jay Cutler was forced to try and lead the offense through the air and struggled at times in the Bears' loss to the Lions.
