The Illini wore nothing but orange helmets for the longest time, unveiling a few different styles of blue helmets over the past few seasons. But white helmets? That's new.

It's all part of the school-wide rebranding Illinois and Nike took part in this offseason, and it's having and will have effects on every athletic team. The new football unis look pretty good on mannequins. Now it's time to see them in action. With white helmets!
