Northwestern is no longer a top-25 team.

As expected, a 35-6 blowout loss in Madison on Saturday knocked the Wildcats clean out of the AP top-25 poll. Northwestern entered the game against the Badgers ranked No. 19.

But, the volatility of the top 25 could soon find the Cats back in. Thanks to its win, the two-loss Wisconsin team that trounced Northwestern re-entered the top 25 at No. 25 on Sunday.

Michigan's loss at Penn State also knocked the Wolverines out of the poll, leaving No. 4 Ohio State and Wisconsin as the lone Big Ten teams in the AP top 25.

Northern Illinois remained at No. 23 in the AP top 25 after the Huskies' win over Akron on Saturday.
