When in Chicago, one must enjoy the best the city has to offer.

And with Big Ten Media Day taking place in the Windy City on Monday, some Big Ten football players decided to take in some Chicago staples.

First came the Indiana Hoosiers, with the trio of linebacker David Cooper, wide receiver Shane Wynn and quarterback Nate Sudfeld opting to ingest the city's finest delicacy: deep dish pizza. The Hoosiers picked Giordano's, and whether that's your preferred pie or not, it's certainly an immeasurable improvement over whatever passes for pizza in Bloomington.

Next, we check in on the Michigan Wolverines, who took in one of Chicago's favorite pastimes: Cubs baseball at Wrigley Field. Now whether you're a Cubs fan or not, you have to agree there are few experiences more Chicago than a ballgame on the North Side. A good pick by these Wolverines: linebacker Jake Ryan, quarterback Devin Gardner and defensive lineman Frank Clark.

If the players are looking for another must-do, the Hilton Chicago — the site of Big Ten Media Day — is right across the street from another Chicago institution: Buddy Guy's Legends. Here's hoping a Big Ten player or two took in some of Chicago's signature music along with their pizza and baseball.
