The Big Ten regular season is in the books.
That means it's tournament time in the Big Ten, and the bracket was finalized Sunday night after Nebraska topped Wisconsin to secure the fourth seed.
Here's a look at the official bracket, courtesy of the Big Ten:
First-round matchups take place Thursday down in Indianapolis, with the four teams earning byes seeing their first action Friday.
Intriguing first-round games include Illinois and Indiana, who will play for a shot at regular-season champion Michigan. Both the Illini and Hoosiers theoretically have outside shots at the NCAA tournament, with the Illini still clinging to hope following their Saturday-night upset of Iowa. Illinois will need not just a win over Indiana but also a victory against the Wolverines if they want to keep its tourney hopes alive.
Iowa gets Northwestern in the first round, and while the Hawkeyes' tournament ticket is pretty much assured, they're going through a real rough patch and need to beat the lowly Wildcats to establish some kind of something before the Big Dance gets underway. Also, in the first round, Minnesota and Penn State meet in a rematch of the regular-season finale Sunday, which the Gophers won handily, and Ohio State, fresh off a big season-ending win over Michigan State, takes on Purdue.
