The parade of watch lists is just getting started.
After Monday's trio of watch lists, Tuesday brought another two. And not only were Big Ten players again placed on award watch, but a Chicago-area native landed on one of the lists, too.
Michigan State center Jack Allen is expected to be one of the Big Ten's top offensive linemen this season, and the Hinsdale Central alum earned some more preseason honors when he landed on the Rimington Trophy watch list. The trophy is handed out each season to the top center in college football. Allen, a junior, enters his third year as a starter with the Spartans.

The watch list for the John Mackey Award was also released Tuesday. The award honors college football's top tight end each season. Big Ten representatives include: Penn State's Kyle Carter, Ohio State's Jeff Heuerman, Penn State's Jesse James, Rutgers' Tyler Kroft and Minnesota's Maxx Williams.
