For Kain Colter, the idea of having his former teammates unionize started in the classroom. 

The former Northwestern quarterback, who is a co-founder of CAPA (College Athletes Players Association), said a class called "Modern Workplace" over the summer in Evanston opened his eyes about college football players joining a union.
