The Chicago Blackhawks had their first full-team practice for the Stanley Cup Final on Tuesday morning, and lines and power plays already had some changes.
Viktor Stalberg was back in white and off the top four lines and Brandon Bollig was among the fourth liners during Tuesday's practice for Game 1, which is here tomorrow night. Whether that's a ruse, or a true line change is uncertain. Bollig does bring a physical element, and that's something the Blackhawks will need against the Boston Bruins. Stalberg wore white prior to the Detroit Red Wings series and was benched those first two games. He returned for Game 3.
Meanwhile, Patrick Sharp joined Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa on the top line while Bryan Bickell was on the second line with Michal Handzus and Patrick Kane. Dave Bolland was back in his old third-line center role, flanked by Brandon Saad and Andrew Shaw; Bollig joined Marcus Kruger and Michael Frolik on the fourth line.
Bickell, who got some power-play time earlier this postseason, was not part of the Blackhawks' two practice power-play units. The first unit was Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook, Toews, Hossa and Shaw; the second was Sharp, Nick Leddy, Kane, Bolland and Saad.
