The Blackhawks completed two trades affecting the Rockford IceHogs roster on Thursday. Peter Lablanc was dealt to the Washington Capitals in exchange for future considerations, while Mathieu Beaudoin was acquired from the Hershey Bears—the Capitals’ AHL affiliate—also in exchange for future considerations.

LaBlanc, a 24 year-old former seventh-round draft pick, was in his second season in Rockford and had recorded 12 points this season (four goals, eight assists) in 34 games at center.

The incoming Beaudoin, a 28 year-old right wing who has played in the AHL since going undrafted in 2007, recorded 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in 32 games with the Bears this season.

Neither player has seen NHL action.
