The Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks arrived home early Tuesday morning at O'Hare airport. As it was in 2010, Chicago Fire Department fire trucks doused the airplane with water as it taxied down the runway.
Michal Handzus led the team off the plane, hoisting the Stanley Cup over his head in jubilation as onlookers cheered. The 36-year-old Bolland, who was traded to the Blackhawks at the trade deadline, was handed the Stanley Cup by captain Jonathan Toews after Toews received it from Gary Bettman on the ice of the TD Garden.

Handzus was followed by Game 6 hero Dave Bolland, who scored the game-winning goal with 58 seconds remaining. It was the second goal for Chicago in a 17-second span--Bryan Bickell's rebound had tied the game at 2.
The rest of the team piled off the plane, some with cans of beer in their hands, as onlookers snapped photos and videos with their phones. Patrick Kane was one of the last players off the plane, holding the Conn Smythe Trophy. Kane won the Playoffs MVP award after racking up 19 points (nine goals, 10 assists) in 23 games for the Blackhawks.
The team then boarded two buses and headed to Harry Caray's in Rosemont, where reportedly 1,000 fans were waiting to greet them.

As of 10:15 a.m., nobody could confirm where the Cup was, but then rumors started swirling that it was at York Tavern in Oak Brook. No proof was provided, however.
