The NHL and NHLPA met Wednesday night and had lengthy talks moving closer to a few "things." The two sided will meet again in the morning.

As the NHL lockout extends into another calendar year, the NHL Player's Association is reviewing a response to the players' counter-offer on New Year's Eve. More will come Wednesday as the two sides talk.
