Antti Raanta will get the start, and he and the Chicago Blackhawks will try to rebound when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night at the United Center.

Raanta had as rough a night as anyone on Saturday, when the Toronto Maple Leafs pummeled the Blackhawks. He was pulled to start the third period of that 7-3 loss.

Needing to bolster their goaltending depth with Corey Crawford and Nikolai Khabibulin still sidelined, the Blackhawks acquired veteran Jason LaBarbera from the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. Quenneville was uncertain if or when LaBarbera would be recalled to Chicago.

“He could be in the mix,” he said.

Meanwhile, forward Bryan Bickell continues to skate and could accompany the Blackhawks to Nashville for Tuesday’s game. But Quenneville added that it’s more likely Bickell returns on Friday against the Vancouver Canucks.

“We’ll see how he does the next couple of days,” Quenneville said of Bickell. “He did well today. He’s close.”
