Blackhawks close out road trip against the Coyotes on CSN

After shutting out the league-leading Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night, the Blackhawks are playing their final game before the Olympic break against the Phoenix Coyotes. Catch all the action on Comcast SportsNet beginning at 7:30 p.m. with Blackhawks Pregame Live.

The Blackhawks have had a tough road schedule leading up to the Olympic break, but the defending champions have fared well, going 3-0-1 since facing the Calgary Flames on Jan 28. Tonight they're looking to add one more win to that record as they face off against the Phoenix Coyotes.

The Coyotes (26-20-10) are coming into tonight's matchup following a 3-1 loss to the Dallas Stars.

Tonight's game will mark the third matchup of the season between the Blackhawks and Coyotes; Chicago tallied both previous victories.

Blackhawks: Patrick Kane (27G, 30A), Patrick Sharp (28G, 30A), Jonathan Toews (19G, 36A), Marian Hossa (24G, 26A), Duncan Keith (3G, 45A)

*Kane will be back in Buffalo during tonight's matchup to attend his grandfather's funeral.

Coyotes: Mike Ribeiro (14G, 25A), Radim Vrbata (13G, 24A), Mikkel Boedker (15G, 22A), Martin Hanzal (14G, 22A), Antoine Vermette (21G, 14A)

Goaltender matchup

Corey Crawford will be in net for the Blackhawks. The Coyotes will start Mike Smith.

Smith's posted a .910 save percentage and 2.85 goals-against average in 47 games this season.
