Blackhawks' Darling gets new Stanley Cup inspired tattoo

Share

Scott Darling just got the coolest new tattoo, and you can probably guess it involves some symbolic nod to the Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup this year. It's that, and so much more.

Darling stepped into local tattoo artist and graphic designer, Michael Figueroa's FigSigArts to add to his growing sleeve. The sketch below pays homage not only to the city of Chicago through the peeping skyline, but it also honors a dear friend of the Chicago Blackhawks. The giant Stanley Cup in the center holds the letters 'CR' in place, honoring the late Clint Rief.

Tattoo artists manage to make it all look easy, but in an audio clip posted to Figueroa's Facebook page, he says he invested four hours so far and still has one more session to go before it's a finished masterpiece.

I mean....

 So epic.
