Marian Hossa is out tonight, and probably won’t play until the final exhibition game, as the Chicago Blackhawks host the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at the United Center.
Coach Joel Quenneville said Hossa aggravated an upper-body injury. Hossa had a back injury at the end of the Stanley Cup Final in June and got shots to treat it over the summer. Quenneville expects Hossa to start in the preseason finale and be ready for the Oct. 1 regular-season opener vs. the Washington Capitals.

Jonathan Toews will not play tonight; Quenneville said Toews will travel to Washington D.C., tomorrow and will likely play vs. the Capitals.
