Blackhawks updates: Status of Shaw, Leddy for Game 4

Andrew Shaw is out but Nick Leddy should return to the lineup when the Chicago Blackhawks take on the Minnesota in Game 4 of their second-round series on Friday night.

Niklas Hjalmarsson and Duncan Keith did not practice on Thursday, but coach Joel Quenneville said the two defenseman will play on Friday.

Shaw suffered an apparent right-leg injury in Game 1 of this series. He was seen leaving the United Center on Thursday still favoring that right leg.

Leddy was a surprise scratch in Game 3 vs. the Wild. Quenneville said he wants Leddy to have more pace to his game and added the young defenseman will play in Game 4.
