GLENDALE, Ariz. — Johnny Oduya is doubtful and Corey Crawford will get the start when the Chicago Blackhawks face the Phoenix Coyotes at Arena on Friday night.

Marian Hossa, who did not practice again on Thursday, will play on Friday.

The Blackhawks will finish their road trip with some key players missing. Oduya, who was out with his lower-body injury vs. the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday, seems likely to be out again on Friday. Patrick Kane is also out; Kane flew back to Buffalo on Wednesday night to attend the wake/funeral of his grandfather, Donald, who died earlier this week.

Several of the Blackhawks’ brass will also attend the funeral, including president John McDonough, executive vice president Jay Blunk and general manager Stan Bowman.

Meanwhile, the Blackhawks will look to end this trip on a high note. They’re currently 3-0-2 on it and sit just one point behind the Western Conference-leading Ducks, who they beat, 2-0, on Wednesday.

Brandon Pirri, who was a healthy scratch on Wednesday, centered the third line with Bryan Bickell and Andrew Shaw on Thursday. He will play against Phoenix.
