Eddie O: Olympics are a disruption to NHL season

The three-week Olympic break is seen as a good thing in most circles.

It gives players an extended period of rest to rehab from ailing issues and gives NHL fans a worldwide competition in which their favorite players can showcase their stuff.

But Blackhawks analyst Eddie Olczyk sees things from the other side, too.

What happens when the players return from Sochi and have to battle through the stretch run of the NHL season? What about those players that aren't in the Olympics that are shut down for three weeks? Will they get rusty?
