For years, Eddie Olczyk has been the main Blackhawks color analyst while also balancing the head NHL analyst gig for NBC.

Olczyk admits "it's tough" calling Blackhawks games on national television compared to local, but he doesn't believe the way he calls them is different.

"I want to see this team have the most success that it could possibly have," Olczyk said during a Q&A session at the 7th Annual Blackhawks Convention on Saturday. "But I'd like to think the only difference when I do a game on the national show and the local show is not using the nicknames, obviously, and it's not as much [joking around]."

Olczyk used two-time Norris Trophy winner Duncan Keith as an example, saying: "I'd like to think if Duncan Keith makes a mistake on a local show, I'm gonna point that out as much as I do on the national show, so really it's not that difficult."
