A glimpse inside the dressing rooms after the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday night.

Blackhawks center John Madden

What isnt working? Long pause We need to play with more desperation.

I cant critique other players but myself...

Weve got a ways to go. We find our game for a night, and then lose it. Weve got to stay consistentthats our biggest challenge right now.

Every time we let a game slip away, time is running out. Losing and failing can get contagious.
Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook

Why were you and Duncan Keith split up on defense? You have to ask the coaches. Were here to play hockey and to win hockey games.

What about the power play at home? It hasnt been very good. I dont know what else you want to talk about with the power play.

Absolutely were running out of time. Weve gotta get back to our style of hockey. Weve gotta get back to work.
Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville

We havent had this type of stretch all year long, and everybody should be looking to improve and enhance their own game.
Blue Jackets goalie Steve Mason

It was a great team effort tonight. Its very challenging to play a team like Chicago, especially in Chicago. My defensemen shut down most of their quality chances, Vermette had a couple of key plays late, and its nice to get out of here with two points.

Blue Jackets forward Jakub Voracek

Were playing way more confident these days. Were working together more like a team. I got three more points tonight and sometimes you dont know how you did itor superstitionally, you dont want to figure out how.

Blue Jackets center Antoine Vermette

Did you see me crash Marian Hossa across the back? I was like, Youre not scoring here, buddy.
