The Chicago Blackhawks trimmed their roster on Monday morning, assigning forwards Jimmy Hayes, Marcus Kruger, Peter LeBlanc and Brandon Pirri, and defenseman Dylan Olsen to the Rockford IceHogs.

Hayes and LeBlanc were assigned to the IceHogs earlier in camp but were called up to play in the Blackhawks' final preseason game against the Washington Capitals on Sunday.

The Blackhawks' roster is now at 27.
