These Chicago Blackhawks continue to make history.
With a thrilling 3-2 shootout victory over the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday night, the Hawks notched the 2,500 regular-season win in franchise history.

It took the Blackhawks 5,948 games over 87 seasons to get to that total, facing off against 45 opponents in that span.
Not surprising, the highest number of victories has come against the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago's rival since the Original Six days. The Blackhawks and Red Wings have played 725 times, the most in NHL history.

Joel Quenneville, the leader of two Stanley Cup runs, has the second-most wins in Blackhawks franchise history, racking up 226 victories since 2008.
