A number of Blackhawks hit the ice in Sochi on Thursday as the men's hockey events got under way.

Patrick Kane recorded two assists in Team USA's 7-1 victory over Slovakia just before Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith, Patrick Kane and the rest of Team Canada hit the ice in their 3-1 win over Norway.

After both victories were in the books, the SportsTalk Live panel talked about their first impressions of both games and which team they believe has stronger goaltending.

"Out of all the teams, the U.S. might have the best goaltending," said The Score's Adam Hoge. "That always gives you a chance, and I was just overall impressed with the way they played together with short notice, you only have a few days to practice. They looked pretty good as a team against a decent Slovakian team."
