Before the Stanley Cup Final, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino decided to make a friendly wager between the two Original Six teams, Blackhawks and Bruins.

And on Wednesday, Menino honored his lost bet by posting a promotional video for the Blackhawks on the city of Boston's official homepage

The video opens with Emanuel saying, “Hello Boston, you have no idea how glad I am to speak to you.

“Here in Chicago, we were thrilled when Chicago brought home the Stanley Cup," he added. "From one sports town to another, and one set of fans to another, I want to thank the Bruins and the entire city of Boston for a really, really great series."

The video will stay on Boston's website for 24 hours, which was part of Emanuel and Menino's small agreement.
