On to the next one: Team USA rolls en route to semis

The USA-Canada matchup everybody has been waiting for is now coming to fruition.

Team USA downed the Czech Republic 5-2 Wednesday to advance to the semifinals and a date with Jonathan Toews and Team Canada.

Blackhawks star Patrick Kane had an assist as five different U.S. players found the back of the net, including captain Zach Parise. Ryan Suter had three assists, Ryan Kesler had a pair of helpers and David Backes added a goal and an assist for Team USA.

Blackhawks veteran Michal Rozsival played nearly 19 minutes for the Czechs.

The U.S. will face off against Canada Friday morning.
