Their facial expressions said it all: these Blackhawks fans may not have won the mega-millions, but they still hit the jackpot when Patrick Sharp teamed up with the Illinois Lottery to show fans that anything is possible.
Just days before the start of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, a few Blackhawks fans left video messages wishing their favorite players good luck in the upcoming games. But little did they know they'd be getting a very personalized message back.
Patrick Sharp, you sly dog.
This isn't the first time Sharp's given fans a borderline heart attack. First he dressed as a giant dog and delivered a basket of goods to a woman named Deb on Valentines Day, who ended up almost passing out in Tommy Hawk's arms, err, wings.
Then over the summer he surprised one family at the annual Blackhawks Convention by delivering room service to their door.
Stay on your toes, Blackhawks fans, because you never know what's coming next from Sharp and the Illinois Lottery.
