Yes, you read that headline correctly.
On Saturday morning, the Chicago Blackhawks' Twitter account graced us with a video of captain Jonathan Toews accepting the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. And we have to admit, his approach is rather awesome:
A number of other athletes have also put a pretty cool twist on their way to help raise money and awareness for ALS. Like Paul Bissonnette, who went as far as to get a helicopter and camera crew. Or PK Subban, who had an entire truck of ice water (yes, a truck) poured on him.
And now Toews has called out teammates Niklas Hjalmarsson and Brad Richards (among others) to take the challenge next. We'll see which Blackhawks are next...
