Friday was a tough day for American sports fans. Not only did this fine country's men's hockey team lose to Canada, but they did so by getting shut out. Ouch.
But wait! It gets worse.
Prior to Friday's semifinal game, the Command Sign, located in Skokie just heading towards Chicago, offered this wager to our friendly neighbors up north:
Nothing is higher than the stakes of tomorrow’s game. pic.twitter.com/usqJ9EPTpg— Command Sign (@CommandSign) February 20, 2014
Which was hilarious and awesome until USA lost. So the Command Sign struck back with another wager:
Hey Canada, best 2 out of 3… errr… best 3 out of 5? pic.twitter.com/n7tLp8qyu0— Command Sign (@CommandSign) February 21, 2014
Canada should at least take this idea into consideration. Maybe this picture of Patrick Kane will help them feel some sympathy when making their decision.
