Scott Darling has made some pretty spectacular saves in his brief career with the Blackhawks, most notably in Game 1 against the Nashville Predators last year when he made a terrific right pad save in the third period to keep the game tied.

With the Blackhawks leading 3-0 against the Maple Leafs in the second period, the Lemont native robbed Nick Spaling with an acrobatic glove save that preserved the three-goal lead and shutout bid.

After the game Darling, who stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Blackhawks' 7-2 win, admitted there was some luck to his ridiculous save.
