The game of hockey has come a long way since Wayne Gretzky's day.

Players are bigger, goaltending has improved, the speed has picked up — the list goes on and on.

So if Gretzky were still playing today, which team, style-wise, would best fit with the way he played?

"Maybe the Blackhawks," he said in an interview on the Dan Patrick Show. "I'd like to play with Patrick Kane, he's a pretty good player."

Gretzky also said he'd be happy to be back with any of the teams he played throughout his career, adding that he loves "the way Darryl Sutter coaches" in Los Angeles.

But No. 88 and the Blackhawks appealed to him, stylistically, the most, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind having The Great One on their roster, either.
