The Bears will go through their first on-field workouts of the Marc Trestman Era with a voluntary veteran minicamp next week at Halas Hall.

The 90-minute workouts (closed to the public) will take place in the early afternoon Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  General Manager Phil Emery will hold a press conference for the first time since the signings of Jermon Bushrod and Martellus Bennett late Tuesday morning, prior to the first workout.  He'll make his first public comments since the parting of ways with Brian Urlacher, in addition to the subsequent free agent signings.

Jay Cutler is scheduled to meet with reporters after the Tuesday workout, while Defensive Coordinator Mel Tucker and Special Teams Coordinator Joe DeCamillis will speak after Wednesday's practice.  Offensive Coordinator Aaron Kromer speaks Thursday.  Trestman will be available all three days.

Many Bears veterans have already been going through off-field workouts the past two weeks, training under the new coaching staff and familiarizing themselves with the playbook.

Comcast SportsNet and CSNChicago.com will provide coverage of all three days at Halas Hall.
