With their seventh-round pick (No. 220 overall) of the 2012 NFL draft, the Bears selected TCU cornerback Greg McCoy.
McCoy was a four-year starter for the Horned Frogs, recording 92 tackles, seven interceptions and 17 pass breakups. At 5-10, 181 pounds, McCoy also uses his speed as a kick returner, averaging 28.9 yards per return with three touchdowns in 52 chances.
He was named Mountain West special teams player of the year last season when he averaged 30.6 yards with two touchdowns.
