Don't look for baby Cutler (or the Cutlet as "The League" so aptly deemed him) to be suiting up in football pads in a few years.
Kristin Cavallari, fianc of Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and mother to his son Camden, said she doesn't want the five-month-old to play football when he grows up.
"I will try to steer Cam in a different direction, maybe a sport that isn't so aggressive," Cavallari told DNAinfo.com Monday. "Maybe baseball -- something where he doesn't have to get hit."
This seems to be a popular opinion of late, as President Barack Obama said Sunday that if he had a son, he would have to think twice about letting him play football due to its violence.
Cavallari has admitted that Cam already takes after his dad, so she might not be able to deter him when the time comes.
"At the end of the day, I think if he wants to play football, I don't know if I'm gonna have too much control over it," she said. "You know, how can your dad be a football player and you tell them that they can't do it?"
That being said, if Cam does decide to go into baseball, maybe taking after his dad will come in handy there. Cutler's rocket arm and natural athletic ability could translate well into quite a pitcher.
