Draft Capsule: DE Dion Jordan

Dion Jordan (DE/OLB), Oregon
6-6 | 248 lbs.
2012 Stats:
44 tackles, 10.5 TFL, 5 sacks, 3 FF
Drafted:
1st Round - No. 3 overall to the Miami Dolphins
Strengths:
Explosive, versatile defender who can succeed at defensive end or outside linebacker at the next level. Freakish athletic ability for a man with his size, yet strong enough to shed blocks and take down whatever comes his way. Good coverage skills and a closing speed that resembles a fast safety, instead of a college lineman. Quarterbacks have no chance of outrunning Jordan.
Weaknesses:
Limited pass rushing moves and has a lean body type. Needs raw skills refined with NFL coaching. Shoulder injuries continue to be a problem for Jordan to this day.
