Khaled Holmes (C, USC)
6-3 | 302 lbs
Versatile. Could play center or either guard positions. Intelligent, high character. Good at reading defenses pre-snap. Able to play through nagging injuries. Uses angles well when run blocking. Has mean streak.
Tall for a center. Sometimes plays too upright. Needs to work more on inline power heading into the NFL. Vulnerable to nagging injuries.
Fit for Bears:
Interior line is a need the Bears must address in the draft, especially with little depth at the center position. Holmes could be a really solid pick up for the Bears in the middle rounds because of his versatility inside. Phil Emery might need to trade up a little bit if he really wants Holmes because he might not last until their pick in the 4th round.
