EJ Manuel (QB), Florida State

6-5 | 237 lbs.

2012 Stats:

3,392 YDS, 23 TD, 156 QBR | 103 CAR, 310 YDS, 4 TD

Drafted:

1st Round - No. 16 to the Buffalo Bills

Strengths:

Has all the physical tools you want in a quarterback. Throughout his senior season, Manuel showed off his arm strength and athleticism that once made him the top recruit coming out of high school. Has the ability to stretch the field and throw the ball into a tight window between defenders. Once a play breaks down, he uses his mobility to find the first down marker with his legs. Respected by coaches and teammates showing great character and leader traits.

Weaknesses:

Manuel tends to throw the ball into tight coverage too much trying to make a big play. Very inconsistent with his deep ball. Holds the ball too long in the pocket and gets rattled by the pass rush. His ability to quickly read the defense has been questioned by some NFL scouts.
