So far, the Blackhawks are 1-for-1 at the start of their four-game road trip. After dropping two consecutive matchups to the Avalanche and Oilers, the Blackhawks recorded a 2-1 victory in Columbus.
“We had a couple of tough periods in the last two games. Finding ways to get points again was important for us,” coach Joel Quenneville said after Thursday's matchup. “We started the trip in a positive way, which we were hoping to do."

Tonight the Blackhawks (22-2-3) will face off against the Stars (12-11-3) for the second time this season. The last time these two teams met, Chicago came out with a 3-2 overtime win, marking their fourth consecutive victory to open the season.
Led by league veteran Jaromir Jagr, the Stars -- who currently sit three points out of a playoff spot -- have had their ups and downs this season. After dropping their previous three matchups, Dallas will be looking to avoid their fourth consecutive loss against the No. 1 team in the league.
Dallas captain Brenden Morrow returned to the ice Thursday after missing two games with a strained groin, but the Stars may be without forward Jaime Benn who sat out of his team's last two matchups with a wrist injury.
