Marian Hossa played in his 1,000th game in Detroit on Sunday. On Tuesday the Chicago Blackhawks will honor their right wing for the milestone prior to their game against the Minnesota Wild.

The Blackhawks will wear a commemorative version of their home jerseys during warmups; these will have Hossa’s name and his No. 81. Each jersey will then be autographed by Hossa and the player who wore it, and will be auctioned off on beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and ending at noon on Monday, March 11. Proceeds from the jersey sales will be split between Hossa’s Heroes and Blackhawks Charities.

The team will also have an on-ice ceremony prior to the 7:30 p.m. puck drop to recognize Hossa.
