Tonight the Blackhawks will take the ice against the Wild for Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Catch all the action on Comcast SportsNet, beginning with Blackhawks Pregame Live at 8:00.
Whether the Blackhawks face Niklas Backstrom in net tonight remains to be seen as the Minnesota netminder is still listed as day-to-day after sustaining a lower-body injury during Tuesday's pregame warmups. In the meantime, the Wild -- who are down 1-0 in the series against Chicago -- have recalled goaltender Darcy Kuemper to back up Josh Harding, who started in Backstrom's place in Game 1.
As far as Blackhawks goaltending goes, Corey Crawford will return to the net and be backed up by Henrik Karlsson as Ray Emery continues to recuperate from a lower-body injury that's sidelined him since the end of the regular season. He and Dave Bolland have been ruled out for tonight's game.
But despite the number of injuries, both teams say they feel ready and prepared for the matchup ahead, and plan to have better, stronger performances than the ones seen earlier in the week.
The Blackhawks may have been off to a bit of a slow start on Tuesday, but the team still found a way to earn a 2-1 victory in overtime.
"We worked hard to get home ice advantage," Patrick Sharp told reporters following his team's win. "We want to keep our crowd into it; they give us energy. So starting fast in Game 2 is important."

After tonight's matchup, both teams will head to Minnesota for Games 3 and 4. Whether Emery and Bolland join their teammates on the trip remains to be seen, but Joel Quenneville said Thursday they'll likely be going.
