Dave Bolland is out again and Corey Crawford will get the start in goal when the Chicago Blackhawks host the Edmonton Oilers tonight at the United Center.
Bolland will miss his third consecutive game after blocking a shot off his right foot against St. Louis on Tuesday night. Coach Joel Quenneville said Bolland will be going on the circus trip, and that he hopes the checking-line center plays in one of the first two games on it.
This will be Crawford's fourth career appearance against the Oilers. He is 1-2-0 with a 1.89 goals-against average against them.
The Blackhawks are sporting a 6-1-2 record at home this season. The Oilers are wrapping up a six-game road trip tonight; they have lost three out of their last four games, including a 3-0 shutout in Detroit on Friday night.
