NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nick Leddy is fine after taking a puck to the face on Thursday night, and Corey Crawford will get the start when the Chicago Blackhawks face the Nashville Predators on Sunday night.

The Blackhawks will wrap up their six-game road trip, their longest of this season, on Sunday. It’s been a good one, and the Blackhawks are looking to improve upon their already strong 9-0-2 mark.

Leddy, meanwhile, is OK after a shot hit him in the face near the end of the Blackhawks’ 6-2 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes. He wore a cage helmet for Saturday’s practice and may do the same for the game on Sunday.

“I’ll probably wear it just to be safe. I’ve done it in high school and in college, so I’m kind of used to it,” he said. “It’s a little bit (limiting visually), because I’m so used to a visor. It’ll take a little getting used to but it’ll be fine.”

Crawford enters Sunday’s game with a 6-0-2 record and a 1.82 goals-against average, which is sixth-best in the league. With a few extra days during the second part of this road trip and a night off on Thursday – Ray Emery was in net for the Blackhawks’ victory over Phoenix – Crawford is feeling rested.

“I feel really good,” Crawford said. “We’ve been getting a lot of days off so far (coach Joel Quenneville’s) been good with that. So everyone’s pretty rested.”
