“He’s progressed; he felt good yesterday and (today) prior to going the ice. But we might give him some time,” Quenneville said. “He came out of the game a little sore the other night but it’s not serious.”
Niklas Hjalmarsson had a maintenance day on Thursday but will play tonight. Michal Rozsival, who Quenneville said has an upper-body injury, is out tonight.
Patrick Sharp continues to work through his injury, which a source said is the left shoulder that kept him out a month earlier this season. Quenneville said Thursday that Sharp could be on the Blackhawks’ Western Canada trip early next week. Sharp said as soon as he’s ready, he’ll play again.
