The Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with St. Cloud State forward Drew LeBlanc on a one-year contract today. It's been a good day for LeBlanc, who also won the 2013 Hobey Baker Memorial Award, given annually to the most outstanding player in NCAA hockey, this evening.

The 23-year-old LeBlanc recorded 50 points (13 goals, 37 assists) in 42 games this season for the Huskies, who made their first Frozen Four appearance in program history. LeBlanc has 147 points in 171 career games at St. Cloud State. The 6-foot, 195-pound forward had 59 points in 78 games with the Chicago Steel (US Hockey League) from 2006-08. He will report to the Blackhawks and wear No. 14.
