1. Time for another hero: Seems like the Blackhawks are finding different guys every night to help them on this unbelievable streak they are on. No less than 13 players have scored game-winning goals, and that doesn’t count the shootout tallies. Tonight, the Hawks will be without their No. 1 left winger Patrick Sharp. Michael Frolik will return to the lineup tonight, and Bryan Bickell will get a promotion to play on the Bolland/Kane line.

2. Keep the penalty kill perfect against the Avs: Colorado has gone six straight games against Chicago without scoring on the power play. In fact, they have not scored a power play goal in their last five games overall. A big part of the last game was the special teams play. Chicago scored a power play goal and a short handed goal.
3. Get ready for a physical contest: There were a total of 63 hits during Wednesday's game. It got a little ugly when Paul Stastny elbowed Andrew Shaw, knocking him out of the game. A big hit by Ryan O’Byrne has put Patrick Sharp out of the lineup. The Avs will try to intimidate the Blackhawks on their own turf, but it won’t work as long as Chicago keeps using its speed and sticking up for each other.
