1. Don’t get outworked by blue collar Blue Jackets: There isn’t a lot of talent on this Columbus team, and they’d be the first to tell you that. But they do have a great work ethic, and refuse to quit. The Blackhawks have to match that effort and then win it with skill.

2. Keep the penalty kill near perfect: The Blackhawks have the third-best penalty killing unit in the entire NHL. They have been perfect in that department in three of their last four games. Last night in St. Louis, against the No. 1 powerplay in the league, they were perfect again. That was a big part of their win.

3. Third and fourth lines will be important: In the second games of back to backs, your depth gets tested. The Blackhawks are currently 4-0-0 in the second game of back to backs this year. Players like Viktor Stalberg, Bryan Bickell, Andrew Shaw, and Michael Frolik will have an opportunity to do some damage again. They could be the difference makers.
