1: Patience is a virtue: Over the last 10 games Nashville has scored 33 goals, way above their season average of 2.4 goals per game. Problem is they haven’t been defending well, allowing an average of almost four goals per game in their last nine contests. Good defense leads to offense and plenty of scoring chances for the Blackhawks. It certainly did against Detroit. Don’t trade chances with this Predator team.

2: Don’t let Nashville tally on the power play sheet: Nashville has not scored on the power play in its last three games, going zero for 12. In fact, Nashville has only won four of 19 games that it didn’t register a power-play goal. Chicago has been perfect on the penalty kill in its last six games. They have to keep this up.
3: Set the tone early, three times in four games is playoff-like: Not very often that you play the same team three times in one week. That is unless it’s the playoffs. By setting the tone early with speed and a willingness to do all the little things right, the Blackhawks could be in a great position to help ruin the playoff aspirations of this Predator team.
