The NHL and NHLPA will resume negotiations on Wednesday at an undisclosed location, according to various reports.
The two sides meet one day after the league canceled games through Dec. 30. They'll also reconvene less than a week after talks took an ugly turn in New York City. Commissioner Gary Bettman said the two sides aren't close while NHLPA executive director Donald Fehr insists they are close to a deal. Jamal Mayers, speaking to CSN on Monday, also said the two sides are close.
