Eddie Belfour has some great memories of his time with the Chicago Blackhawks. In March, the team will honor his time here.

The Blackhawks will host an Ed Belfour Heritage Night at the United Center on March 25, when the team hosts the Nashville Predators. For Belfour, who was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame back in November, Chicago will always be a special place. So will his evening in March.

"That means a lot to me. It's always a great feeling to be remembered and I have a lot of special memories here in Chicago," said Belfour, who was with the Blackhawks from 1988-97. "It just brought back a lot of memories flying in here today, a lot of fun times. I always had great memories here, loved playing here and got my start here."

Belfour ranks third in the franchise with 415 games played and 201 victories. He's fourth with 30 shutouts and he's the only goaltender in Blackhawks' history to have two 40-plus win seasons.
