In the second period of Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Blackhawks rookie Andrew Shaw earned a five-minute major and an ejection for game misconduct after a collision with Coyotes goaltender Mike Smith. The shoulder-to-head hit will send Shaw to hearing Monday according to The Chicago Tribune, even thoughSmith popped back up, told trainers he was 100 percent and finished the game. Shaw told CSNChicago.com's Tracey Myers that he didn't mean to hit Smith. "...I tried to get out of the way of it," he said. "Unfortuantely I made contact. I didn't try to hit him but unfortunately I did. I'm just glad he's OK and he could finish the game."The hearing comes right before the Hawks play the Coyotes Tuesday in Game 3 with the series now 1-1.
